Suzanne and Steve Smith, of Wabash, Indiana, and Kirk and Pam Smith of Franklin, MA, commissioned two dolls designed to duplicate the baby and toddler Cole Porter. These dolls were donated to the Birthplace for display. To achieve the likeness of Cole, Suzanne had two early Porter Family photos enhanced and submitted them to "My Twin" doll making company.
